We honestly couldn’t recommend the Loughrea Hotel & Spa enough for anyone planning their wedding! From the very first wedding open day, we had such a positive experience and knew we were in the best hands.

A special mention has to go to Aoife, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. She was so helpful, reassuring and always made sure everything was taken care of.

Chanelle, the C&B Supervisor, was also incredible on the day. She constantly checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for us and our guests.

A huge thank you to Martin, the Head Chef, for the absolutely amazing food. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for better.

We also want to thank Andrew, the General Manager, for everything he did to make our wedding so special, and Pawel, the Night Manager, who made sure everyone was well looked after… and most importantly, that there were plenty of Tayto sandwiches to keep everyone going! 😂

Every single member of staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they played such a huge part in making our wedding day so perfect. We are so grateful to everyone at the hotel for looking after us and our guests so incredibly well.

Between the chaos of Storm Éowyn, unexpected power cuts at home, and the last-minute uncertainty about where to get ready, we certainly put you to the test!

We had our wedding at the Loughrea Hotel and it was an amazing experience from the beginning. Nicole was a pleasure to work with, any questions or concerns we had she sorted out right away. We had been living abroad and booked the hotel prior to moving home and they accommodated us with zoom/voice calls as often as needed. The service was excellent and we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day, literally everything is thought of once you walk through the door. So many of our guests commented that the wedding reception was amazing and they couldn’t fault it. If your thinking of going with the Loughrea hotel it will be the best decision you make. Thanks to the team for making our day so special and helping us create such fabulous memories.

We had the most magical weekend on Friday and Saturday which was down to Nicole and the wonderful staff at the hotel, Nicole the wedding manager ensured everything was seemless from our ceremony and the reception to our meal and day 2 the team ensured that we had absolutely nothing to worry about which was a big part of the reason we were both so relaxed. The Wedding staff were second to none ensuring we had everything we needed from start to finish. Although we had rain on day 2 the rooftop bar was top class, the team ensured we had enough space for everyone by opening up a second room for people to sit and enjoy themselves, our guests were so impressed with the set up and service provided by Darragh, Sarah and the team that the rain didn’t bother any of our guests. Damien the general manager was always on hand ensuring we were having a good time throughout the two days and ensuring our glasses were never dry. Overall our experience in the loughrea Hotel and Spa was fantastic, we could not recommend them highly enough and we cannot wait to head back there for another stay soon. Our wedding at Lough Rea Hotel and Spa was everything we envisioned and more! Nicole guided us every step of the way, and no request was too much! Our guests raved about the professional and efficient service of the staff and the food was to die for. The transitions between ceremony, reception and dinner went without a hitch and we had such a lovely stress free day. We especially couldn’t have done it without the incredible Nicole. She was an absolute blessing, and made the planning and lead up so so easy. We will be singing her praises to everyone we know – she is an absolute gem and the biggest asset to the hotel! Thank you SO much for making our day absolutely perfect and everything we dreamed of 🙂

Nicole the wedding co-ordinator made everything so simple and easy. Nothing was a problem. She replied to every query instantly and went above and beyond with the little details and decor for us. All the guests raved about the room, the service and the food. There was more food than any crowd could possibly eat and it was all delicious. Staff were incredibly helpful and were very on the ball all weekend. Day 2 on the rooftop bar was ran very well and the barbecue food went down a treat. Couldn’t fault a single thing and would chose the venue again in a heartbeat if we were back at the planning stage.
